About me

I began my journey in the field of robotics eight years ago, during my engineering studies and Master’s degree program at the University of Chile, Santiago, Chile. My passion for robotics was sparked during my involvement with a student robotics team, where we competed in the RoboCup Standard Platform League, a global robot soccer competition.

This formative experience not only introduced me to the intricate world of robotics but also ignited my curiosity in developing solutions for real-world systems. After graduating, I pursued further specialization in robotics through a Ph.D. at the Department of Cognitive Robotics at Delft University of Technology, under the supervision of Jens Kober. My research focused on advancing robotic imitation learning techniques, addressing existing limitations that hinder their real-world application, particularly through interactive learning and inductive bias. I completed my Ph.D. in December 2023, and my defense took place in September 2024. In the meantime, I transitioned to a postdoctoral position in the same department, working alongside Cosimo Della Santina.
